SIA TOCO MADERA is a wood-processing company based in Liepaja, Latvia, specialising in solid birch materials for the European market. Our core products are birch frame-grade, face-frame and custom-specification components produced to order.
Drying and planing happen in our own facility. That's how we hold stable quality, controlled moisture and flexible order execution — batch after batch.

Kiln-dried, planed and profiled to your specification
TOCO MADERA manufactures solid Baltic birch components and semi-finished blanks for furniture, cabinetry and interior joinery production.
Using our in-house kiln-drying facilities and seven-head moulding line, we produce planed and longitudinally profiled components in fixed lengths according to customer-specified dimensions and cross-sections.
Products are supplied unfinished and unsanded for further machining, assembly and finishing at the customer's production facility.

Planed Solid Birch Furniture Blanks
Four-side planed solid birch blanks manufactured in fixed lengths and customer-specific cross-sections. Typical applications include furniture frames, cabinet parts, drawer-side blanks, upholstered furniture structures and blanks for subsequent drilling or joint machining.
Profiled Solid Birch Components
Customer-specific longitudinal profiles manufactured from solid birch according to an approved drawing, cross-section or physical sample. Available profile details may include grooves, rebates, chamfers, rounded edges, decorative mouldings and functional furniture or panel profiles.
Birch Cabinet Frame Components
Fixed-length blanks and longitudinal profiles for framed cabinet systems:
- Cabinet door rail and stile blanks

End joints, coping, drilling, sanding, assembly and finishing are performed by the customer.

Material
Why birch — and why Latvian birch in particular
Latvian birch (Betula pendula) grows slowly in cold northern forests. Short summers and long winters give the wood tight, uniform annual rings — the reason a Baltic birch board is denser, more stable and finer-grained than birch grown further south.
This is the same species behind legendary Baltic birch plywood. In solid form it machines cleanly, glues reliably, holds screws and finger-joints under load, and takes stain, oil and lacquer without blotching.

Closer planing tolerances agreed per specification for components requiring higher dimensional consistency. Confirmed at quotation stage.
